Registration Procedure

STEP 1: MEMBERSHIP

CSS Members benefit from reduced registration fees.  If you are not currently a CSS member, you can join or renew prior to registering for the meeting.  Please note registering for the meeting at the member rate will save you more than the cost of the membership.

STEP 2: Register

Note: The Student Member rate is only for Students who are Members of the Society. You can join the Society and register for the conference at the same time to get the member rates. To qualify for Student Membership, you must show proof of your current student status.

Please note that there is NO one-day registration available on this site or at the conference, including the Tutorial and Workshop day as well. Everyone is expected to register for the conference, including all students, all tutorial and workshop attendees, and all presenters and speakers. Additional fees will be added to all on-site registrations.

STEP 3: Book Hotel

Book your accommodation for Montreal early as it’s a busy city! The Conference Secretariat (International Conference Services, Ltd.) is the official housing bureau for the 41st Annual Meeting of Cognitive Science Society and will offer assistance with the coordination of housing requirements for the Conference. Special room rates have been negotiated and will be available to Conference delegates only.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing. The amount paid less a $75 (+tax) processing fee will be refunded for cancellations post-marked or faxed prior to 24 June 2019. Following this date, no refunds will be issued

Transfer Policy: There will be a charge of $75 (+tax) to transfer a registration to another person. Transfer requests must be made by 24 June 2019. Following this date, no transfers will be issued.

The Cognitive Science Society reserves the right to modify the conference program. The conference organizers are not responsible for any non-refundable expenses participants incur for their travel and accommodations associated with this event.

In the event of a cancellation, administrative fees are assessed and membership is not refunded.

Consent to Use of Photographic Images

Registration and attendance at, or participation in CogSci 2019 constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the Cognitive Science Society’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes.
