Renew membership / become a member
The Society is introducing a new online membership tool for the start of the 2019 membership cycle. Your current CSS login and password will no longer work. Instead, you will need to create a new user profile below. To use this new system, please select which of the following two scenarios applies to you:
Please note: access to the old system is available here until the end of the member year. After December 31, the journal access will only be available to active members through the new member tool.
1. You are signing up for, or renewing your CSS membership for 2019
If your 2018 membership has expired and you’re intending to sign up for or renew your CSS membership for 2019, you’ll be required to create an account on the new online system. Please follow the below steps to create an account and become an active CSS member:
- Click here to access the new membership tool
- Click on the ‘Make an Account’ button
- Fill in your basic contact and affiliation details
- Select a memorable password (please note: your username will automatically be set as the email you provide)
- Click ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the form to set up your new account
- You will automatically be taken to the online membership form to complete and make your payment
2. You have an active CSS membership, which expires in 2019 or beyond
If you have already renewed your membership for 2019, or are continuing a membership cycle into the 2019 year and beyond, you will still be required to create a new account on the system.
As a fully paid up member, we have your details on record and will contact you directly via email with instructions and a ‘coupon code’ to enter to transfer your active membership onto the new system without charge. If you do not hear from us by mid-January, please contact us
If you have any questions or concerns, or you’re not sure which of the above applies to you, feel free to contact us directly.
